We only collect personal information when you create an account. To sign up all you need is an email address and password. Your email is used solely for account access, login, and essential service communication. We do not collect payment information because the platform is free to use.

Profile Information

If you choose to complete your profile, we may collect:
* First names of the wedding couple
* Last names of the wedding couple

This information is used only to personalize your address collection page and service experience. Completing your profile is optional. However, if you do not complete your Profile, your Address Request Page will not be customized correctly.

Guest Address Information

Our platform collects wedding invitation mailing addresses submitted by your guests.
This may include:
* Guest name
* Mailing address

This information is collected strictly to provide the core function of our service, which is helping you build and manage your wedding invitation mailing list. Guest information belongs to you and is accessible only within your account.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected data only to operate and deliver the My Invitation List service.

This includes:
* Creating and maintaining your account
* Displaying your address list
* Allowing guest submissions
* Enabling CSV export
* Supporting invitation and thank you card mailings

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or promotional campaigns.

NO TRACKING OR ADVERTISING

We respect your privacy and keep our platform simple.

We do not use:
* Google Analytics
* Advertising pixels
* Behavioral tracking tools
* Third party marketing trackers

Your activity is NOT monitored or tracked for advertising purposes.

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with anyone. Your data is used only to provide the service you signed up for.

This includes:
* Wedding couple account data
* Guest mailing addresses
* Profile information

DATA SECURITY

We use standard security practices to protect your information. Access to your address list is restricted to your account. We take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of stored data.

DATA RETENTION

Your data remains in our system only while your account is active. You may edit or delete guest entries at any time.

ACCOUNT DELETION

If you delete your account:
* All account data is permanently deleted
* All guest addresses are permanently deleted
* All profile information is permanently deleted

This action is irreversible. We cannot recover deleted data for any reason.

If you choose to return in the future, you will need to create a new account and rebuild your address list from the beginning.

DATA BACKUP ADVISORY

While we maintain system safeguards, we strongly recommend that the wedding couple periodically download a backup copy of their address list. You can do this by exporting your list as a CSV file from your dashboard.

Keeping a local copy ensures you have access to your guest mailing addresses in the unlikely event of:
* Account deletion
* User error
* Technical issues
* Service interruptions

CSV backups provide an extra layer of peace of mind while planning your wedding.

EMAIL COMMUNICATION

We do NOT spam wedding couples. We do NOT send marketing emails or promotional campaigns.

You may receive limited emails related only to:
* Account access
* Password resets
* Essential service notifications
* Other misc communication

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a resident of California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

These rights include:
* The right to know what personal information we collect
* The right to request deletion of your personal information
* The right to request access to your stored data
* The right to know whether your data is sold or shared

My Invitation List does not sell or share personal information.

If you wish to request account data access or deletion, you may do so by contacting us through our platform support system.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our service is intended for adults planning weddings.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If such information is discovered, it will be deleted.

THIRD PARTY LINKS

Your address page or dashboard may contain links you choose to share externally. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites or services.

We may update this Privacy Policy if our service changes. If updates occur, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
